Fighting for your kids, let us help you get Sole Management Conservatorship

In Texas, a conservator is the court-appointed custodian of the property or financial affairs of a person who is under the age of capacity or who has been declared legally incompetent. During a divorce, at least one person needs to be declared a managing conservator.

A managing conservator must be a parent, a competent adult, an authorized agency, or a licensed child-placing agency. This applies to grand parents also.

Many times, circumstances dictate for the court to appoint one of the parents a Sole Managing Conservator. Why? Because it would be in the best interest of the child pursuant Texas Family Code §153.002.

The best interest of the child shall always be the primary consideration of the court in determining the issues of conservatorship and possession of and access to the child.

Our divorce lawyers always inform our clients that a divorce is between a husband and a wife; however, many times it would be best for the child is the child was removed from a particular parent. This is when our lawyers can help.

Conservatorhip, possession and access can be complicated issues for any person going through a divorce. Let our lawyers help you and your children.

Today, the Constitution wins!!!

Casey Anthony has been on trial for 1st Degree Murder in an Orlando Court Room. After a fierce court battle between attorneys, evidence presented, and medical experts, the jury found her Not Guilty. As an attorney, it brings great pleasure to know that, juries, still get it right. And that innocent people can still be judged by a jury of their peers.

One thing that I need to point out was the fact that, the case has been mishandled by the media which for some reason, where creating this appearance of "guilt" even before the pronouncement of the verdict. Shame on those who did it!

Today, I am proud to be an attorney that stands for the rights of those who have been wrongfully accused. Jose Baez, an attorney in Florida, and his legal team of criminal defense attorneys did a superb job in fighting for the rights of the less fortunate and the accused. Although we are not related in any way, our congratulations go to them for a job well done! From The Baez Law Firm in San Antonio Texas, to The Baez Law Firm in Kissimmee, Florida.
